Every year, The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepare an annual blog report, which I find very interesting.
Here’s this year’s report:
The Louvre Museum has 8.5 million visitors per year. This blog was viewed about 160,000 times in 2013. If it were an exhibit at the Louvre Museum, it would take about 7 days for that many people to see it.
In 2013, there were 134 new posts, growing the total archive of this blog to 234 posts.
The busiest day of the year was July 7th with 1,561 views. The most popular post that day was What TO Say to Multiples. That one apparently stirred up some action!

I regularly check up on our stats with the WordPress app to see where our visitors are from and what terms are used in search engines. I’m often amazed at how much traffic we generate, and even with our stats I’m not sure exactly where our readers are located. For example, whether you live in Fargo, North Dakota or Tampa, Florida it shows up at “United States”. If you have a few seconds to spare, I’d love to know:
1. Where are you from? (Perhaps you are from a faraway land, or maybe just around the corner. Either way, I’d love to know!)

That’s so neat! I honestly had no idea there were quad and quint blogs until I found out we were expecting quads and desperately googled for hopeful information. Are you enjoying your Baby Legs? My boys are a bit big for them, but the girls are still getting use out of theirs with dresses and skirts.

I love the baby legs, we use them when our little one is without diper on a blanket on the floor. A little cold for them when we go outside. But we use them as regular legwarmers until better weather 🙂

Hi Jo! I’m loving finding out who represents the countries who visit our blog. I finally googled “4 More to Adore” because that is a common search term for us and discovered a mum in Australia that had quads this year. After I found her FB page, I learned that only 1-2 sets are born in Australia each year. WOW! I have heard that in the UK selective reduction is highly encouraged and I wonder if that is common in other areas too. I’m so glad you enjoy keeping up with us. Sometimes getting showered is an accomplishment for the day…that’s just no fun to post about. Hehe. Texas Tales is fantastic!

Hi Jutta! I often hear mothers with four or more children tell me they how many they have with the caveat, “but I didn’t have them at the same time”. Raising quads is by far the most difficult thing I’ve ever done, but I admire moms with different age children. You have your own set of unique challenges. Also, it’s wonderful that you maintained your career as a dentist! Love that! Happy New Year!

Although I have “only” one baby girl, I enjoy your stories about the quads a lot and I find a lot of helpful tips about life with a (almost) toddler. I’m in Utah and I found your blog in a very round-about way! I was reading through some comments on a craft blog, looking for Halloween costume ideas or something, and I saw a comment from the other Amber’s mom, saying something about making something for her quad grandkids. From her blog I found Amber’s blog, and from there I found your blog. I don’t know why I kept following both of you…I guess it’s just intriguing, since I have a 27-weeker preemie and fertility problems. And your kids are just so darn cute!

She stopped blogging a long time ago but I found it fascinating to see how it was done raising 4 kids (who are adorable btw) at once. I’ve been following since right after the kids were born. I’m in a tiny town in Northeastern Kentucky, I found you googling for a qud stroller. I currently own a triple runabout and was searching for a quad or quint used. I have five foster kids who range within 34 months. ( 2 sibling sets) I find your blog interesting and love the feeding table!

I really admire people who foster children, especially so many. A good friend adopted after fostering and is now fostering an infant in hopes of another adoption. It cannot be easy to foster, but is such a beautiful thing to do for children in difficult circumstances. I loveeee our feeding table! I cannot imagine life without it. Big hugs to your crew!

Hello from Lenexa, KS! I found your blog through google when I was having infertility issues and was going through IUI. It truly gave me hope to read your journey through infertility after struggling myself for so long. I started following just after the quads were born and continue to now. I love reading your posts and use several of your recommendations (I’ve used your baby food recipes and plan to make the wipes) now that I have a little one of my own.
