Happy fourth of July! While I can hear the ka-booms and crackles of fireworks just outside my window, we opted out of watching the annual display. George and I didn’t think it wise to keep four babies up WAY past bedtime AND expose them to startling noises. Unexpected loud noises tend to send them into a tailspin right now. Despite all the commotion outdoors, the babies are all snuggled up their cribs fast asleep. We may not be enjoying the annual light show, but we had a spectacular day with friends and family at the pool. Thank you, Billie and Bob for hosting and to everyone who helped make the babies day at the pool a blast.

When little eyes became heavy, helpers came to the rescue to dry soppy babies off and dress them in dry pajamas. I totally forgot to warn Harper’s helper, Denice that dressing him is much like wrangling a crocodile. Ooops!
How did you celebrate Independence Day?
hugs!

Laying on the sofa all day! Bed rest is terrible but looking at your pictures and reading your posts, give me a push everyday, to just keep going! Looks like you guys had a blast 🙂

Bed rest is down right awful, but so worth it! Keep those precious babies cooking and it will all too soon be a distant memory. So happy we can motivate you =)
