Quadfather at the keyboard

It’s been a hot minute! A whole 6 years, to be precise..time flies when you’re busy not blogging! We’re still upright and breathing, and guess what? The kids just leveled up to 9th grade, officially making us the parents of high schoolers (pray for us). Amber’s off saving the world in a new school district, and I just got the “you’re free!” memo from my last job. So here I am, dusting off the blog, ready to regale you with the daily adventures of our circus so stay tuned for the chaos!

More to come!

  1. oh my gosh!! They are Freshman!!

my friend Eileen is visiting that went to see them with me when they were babies. She can’t believe they are Freshmen’s.

so are you retired or looking for work?

  2. WOW!!! They’ve gotten so big! I used to work with Amber at RALC before the quads were a glint! Everyone looks so big and handsome and pretty. Wishing them a safe and wonderful “fish” year!

    Peace and blessings

    • Hi Steph! I remembe those days- RALC was a special place. Sadly, it closed at the end of last school year. I hope you, Sarah, and Indya are doing well.

      best,

      • Hello!

My goodness, so sad to hear that! I have been keeping up with the “happenings” going on with FWISD. Such a drastic change from what we knew. Truly miss those days!

Update: I’ve been working in nursing for a while now and getting ready to start my DNP.

India(40y) has two boys, DJ-(18y) is a senior and will be graduating this May and her youngest son Zeke(14y) is non-verbal autistic and assisting planning and preparing him for his adult life. Sara will be 30 this October and is teaching English in San Antonio (near her sister India). Tiffany (43y), my oldest has two grown children Q-23Y and Rhyan-20y. Everyone is doing well, thank God!

I often think of those days that now seem so less complicated. Even though in the moment it appeared otherwise.

I enjoyed hearing about the Quads! I hadn’t heard any updates until now. I pray that you are enjoying parenthood and in a few years “otherhood” which happens when they go off to college. No matter what, I pray you and your family are happy, healthy and content.

You know I’m long-winded, so I’ll close. Take care and be well

        Blessings,

        Steph
